The
upper end of the oleo strut on the aft side of the strut and the link
that attaches it to the equalizer arms. This is the end of the
strut that has the piston. The piston is not visible,
on an
airplane in flight worthy status the piston would be visible and the
equalizer links would be near horizontal with an average weight.

there. This cylinder absorbs the landing shocks on both trunnions.
