High Quality Plan Sets for Radio Control Aircraft
36 inch 1940 Cleveland Playboy Senior
Joe Elgin 80 inch design

All set to go.  E-flight Park 180 motor.  I have flown it with 250 and 350mah LiPo batteries that fit in the motor mount.  No ballast was required to balance at the 40% point,
the elevator is trimmed neutral in the glide.  Flying weigh is 4.7 ounces.  The covering is Coverite Microlite.  Very light material but not fun to work with.  It is hard to
get the backing off of the material.  Andrew at R/C Country in Sacramento showed me to use two pieces of masking tape, one on each surface.  A good
rip and we get separation.  Sometimes it tales two or three rips.  The material is thin and light and has a lot of static attraction and loves to flip over and stick
to itself.  It seems manageable and less frustrating with a little experience and I believe it is the lightest practical material for covering available for this type of model.
A couple of internal tabs and a magnet at the upper front corner hold the hatch on.

For the center hinge on the elevator Kevlar string was wrapped around a few times and CA'd on the front side only.  Crude, light, works great.  Done that way on both sides.

Hard to see in the photos but the left wing lettering says "Playboy" in the script on the Cleveland plan.
