The cockpit was built from .040 styrene rod and various thicknesses of styrene sheet.  The throttle quadrant is from the spares box. 
My main reference for this build was an article by Ken Wilson in the June 1974 Wings magazine.  It has many photos and 3 pages
of drawings developed with the help of Don Young, Roscoe Turner's mechanic.
