Hasegawa 1/48 A6M1 Zero Prototype

The color of early Zeros is difficult because there are no original color photos, and the colors on fragments still extant are very subject to change over time due to the unstable
nature of the paints. I used Nakajima interior green as that is the conclusion at J-Aircraft.com, and because Jiro Horikoshi, the designer, states in his book
"The Eagles of Mitsubishi" that the prototype was a "dimly shining ash green".
