The
nacelles are rather beastly to get together. There are 7 parts
that make up the eggs plus the resin wheel well insert, and it all has
to be put together at one time to get
the
shape right. There are no alignment pins or guides. Any
need to sand will cause loss of detail especially around the
screens. I tacked it all together with
superglue
and moved things around to get the best fit, and then final glued and
filled gaps with more superglue. The resin well inserts take some
fitting or they will
not
match the opening on the nacelle bottom, and will be too far forward
for the landing gear to fit. The stub wings then were
added. Care is needed in aligning them as well.
