The parts joined with super glue. It is best to add the gear well fore and aft bulkheads from the F-86D kit at this point. The fit is quite good
between the Academy and Revell parts. Care is needed to get the outer panels located properly, I fit this assembly to the fuselage
halves before gluing it and lined the leading edge wing root up just slightly aft of the panel line for the ammunition box door/step
and then checked the alignment of the gear wells.
