The paper in the gun area is a temporary plug. I blanked off the area in front of the wing inside the fuselage and filled the nose space with small
chopped up pieces of sinker weights, dropping them in through an enlarged hole for a gun barrel. I assembled the door on this side closed.
I suppose I could have added more weight behind the door, but I didn't need to.
