The rest of the parts.  Main landing gear struts have wire reinforcement cast in.  I compared the landing gear struts to those from a Hasegawa kit to find the right length,
 which seemed to be at the top of the top ring cast on the strut.  I left the strut a little longer than that and drilled a companion hole in the wing to seat the top of the strut. 
I was frustrated by all those individual exhaust stacks which had to be cut, trimmed, and fit to the fuselage individually.  They may be a little oversize.
I used the supplied prop blades but now that the model is complete they do not seem as broad in chord as they look to be in photos of the XP-40Q.
