The gun barrels, like the exhaust stacks, are individual parts that must be cleaned up and installed individually.  There are nice panel lines and index indents
 where they go but care must be taken to get them all in place and aligned correctly and evenly.  At this stage of construction my models are rarely a pretty sight. 
The canopy frames are painted black as that is the inside color.
