OK, received the Spitfire from Guy on January 21, 2010. I was not able to do anything this weekend other than get some of the paints together. The day was both my and my wife's birthday after all!

OK, received the Spitfire from Guy on January 21, 2010. I was not able to do anything this weekend other than get some of the paints together. The day was both my and my wife's birthday after all!

The seat is a work of art. It is 5 parts
without the lap harness. The armor plating is a PE piece.
The control stick is amazing. It actually moves
fore and aft.
I agree with Guy the way that Tamiya did the IP is
fantastic. You can really see the gauge faces.
Here is the completed Instrument Panel with the control
stick added.
More updates to come with seat bulkhead and rear
bulkhead.
