| The following is a sample of the work previously exhibited by Marianne Ryan at the University of California, Davis. The work is a study of "ATTITUDE" as percieved by her while on the field during professional football games during the 1980's and 90's. |  |

The style and method used in the painting of these is that of instinctive
imaging with a pre-determined limit on the time allowed for each painting.
The sketches which ultimately resulted in these paintings were each done
within 1 minute, usually with two hands working and while looking at the
action in progress and not at the sketchbook. Marianne has been a serious
artist since 1970, doing studio work at the University of California, Davis
and has had numerous examples on exhibit in many galleries and public forums.
