Request Reports:

Traffic or crime reports are available from the Police Department per the terms of the California Public Records Act and California Government Code Section 6254f at the front counter during regular business hours for $0.15 (15 cents) per page.  Photo ID is required.

Fingerprinting:

Fingerprint cards for job applications may be requested at the front counter on Mondays from 12 PM to 7 PM and Wednesdays from 7 AM to 1 PM. The fee is $10.00 per card; photo ID is required.


Bike Licensing:

Bicycles are required to be licensed by City Ordinance. The initial license fee is $12.00 and renewal is $6.00. Bikes should be brought to the front office of the Police Department for inspection when requesting a license. Bike helmets are required for all children under 18 years of age. For more information see the DMV Vehicle Code.


Volunteers:

The Department utilizes volunteers in a number of areas. We are always looking for people willing to help improve community safety. Volunteer activities include vacation and residential home checks, assistance with report processing, and staffing at Department events. To volunteer, call the Volunteer Coordinator at 530-661-7854.
