Another nickel postcard
from Convair, of the F-102 in its unsuccessful original
configuration. Note the diffent canopy framing, the raked back
inlet shape, the short nose, no area ruling,
no afterbodies on the tail cone, only one fence per wing and the
way the wing tips almost come to a point.
As on the XF-92, there was no camber on the wing leading edges.
The vertical tail is smaller than
on the later production or unmodified early production F-102A's
