The model was made from the Tamiya M4A3E8 kit and a Legend resin conversion set. The Legend resin is of a very high quality, however it was complicated by the fact that there were only annotated photos for instructions and the set was designed for the Takom kit so there were many areas where the photos were of less help than they might of been. On the plus side, one of the things that got me into this project was that one of my friends bought a real one so that was available for filling in the details.
